That's the great thing about covers: they can go in any direction -- and sometimes they rock, and sometimes they suck, and sometimes they hardly resemble the original, and sometimes, SOMETIMES, they're actually BETTER than the original (e.g., Colin Meloy's "When Ye Go Away" by the Waterboys).

Never was myself. Oh hell I sucked playing guitar but it was cool and fun. His voice is way way too high for that. It just....might work for someone else done slow and soft, but not him.
