1. 3 - 4 weeks. You can get a pretty good deal on your airfare.

3. We booked ours 6 mos in advance.
and it was a good thing we did b/c the planes were filling up fast, amazingly enough. Now obviously, that's not always possible to have that kind of advance time, but in this case we needed it.

:hi: racooon!

5. FLIGHTS
Usually 21day advance, but at least 14days
But it always depends on availability, all airlines restrict the lowest excursion fares to a few
seats on each plane.

Availability usually is Y B M H Q V W S T with 'T' fares being the lowest and the full coach fare at 'Y' in the middle is the advance purchase fares 14/7/3 etc

Some airlines also restrict the capacity for certain routes for example you can get an excursion
fare seat flying from Charlotte NC to Frankfurt via Atlanta, but when you try to just purchase
a seat on the Charlotte to Atlanta flight, it might say sold out.
Its called yield management.
