Clearly the Supreme Court has ruled repeatedly that we have a "lower expectation" of privacy in a motor vehicle than in other areas of our person and effects.

This is why they can look for violations such as DWI and even require that you be in full control of your motor vehicle--this even includes mandating wearing shoes while driving. This also explains why a car is still not a place for romantic liasons which is safe from legal sanction.

So to sum up, you are wrong.
