I just singed the shit out of my hair.

Bent down to give doggie a loving hug and my long ass hair falls into the candle on the end table. The candle had 3 wicks so my hair got triplely singed. And it put the damn candle out. Now I have candle wax all in my hair. And you know what's worse, I lit the candle again, and bent down AGAIN to finish the hug and did it AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!! Am I stupid or what?

Awful!! Luckily, the weight of my hair put it out before it got really nasty!! But the wax in the hair wasn't fun to get out! Also my hair is layered, so you really can't tell! Whew!

If it makes you feel any better, though, my cat kind of did the same thing once. She was sitting under a halogen lamp on my mom's desk in our home office, and my mom and I, who were both working on the computer, smelled something burning and thought that one of the computers was going bad...so of course we started shutting everything down and trying to figure out what had shorted out or whatever. In the meantime, the kitty gets up, stretches, and walks over to the edge of the desk, and I reach down to pet her...and she's got a patch of singed fur about the size of a quarter on her back! :rofl: She was totally fine - didn't even realize she'd burned her hair - but oh, it smelled horrible! (And it was really funny.) :P

Seriously! I tripped on the grout in between the tiles in my living room and fell back into the fish aquarium! Who trips over that? I also made my entrance known at a party by falling down the immediate front door steps. Did a flip and landed on my back. The music stopped and everyone was staring! :o But I have learned to go with the falls. Don't fight them because it only makes it worse! It is a joke amongst all of my friends!

On my first day of school (in a new school at that and at age 15 at that!!!), I was reaching for my backpack which was on the ground right by my desk. I guess I overloaded it with books because as I grabbed it, the weight of it pulled me out of my desk and put my ass on the floor. It was silent for a few seconds so I hoped no one saw it. Then all at once, the class bursted into laughter. I made my presence known on the first day. And even my senior year 2 years later, someone made a comment that that is how they will always remember me!! :blush:
