but hate the subject, if you follow. I hate papers, in particular. Not to mention this is ancient history, and I'm a civil war guy. Ah, well, i'm battling it by watching "Gettysburg" while I do the homework :D

22. The week's almost over, but not over enough for me.

It's been a long, painful one.
And of course, the weekend will be over before I can even blink.
Just holding out for spring break...March is the worst month in my line of work...no days off!
It's the only month of the year with no school holidays.

29. Had to fire someone today. I hate it when that happens.

It's been about a year since I have had to let someone go. I have too many people who give their all and I cannot indefinitely carry someone who only does 10% of minimal expectations. If I string along someone who does not make a noticeable effort it hurts everyone else on my team who works their ass off to compensate for them.

I didn't have a southern accent when I moved to Oklahoma, and now after 20 years in Arkansas I have a variable southern accent depending on who I'm around sometimes.
