We just got back from the supermarket.
And liquor store.

It's 55 degrees and it feels like freakin' summer!

After walking the short 8 minute walk to the train station this past week in the frigid cold and resenting every minute of it, now I can't wait for Spring.

Anyone else enjoying the weather today?

1. Indeed!
It's 50 here in MA, and quite wonderful! See, Sniffa only likes to drink martinis on the porch, so he can smoke butts at the same time, so it's nice to be on the porch and not freezing to death. :P

I went to the store without a jacket today! Considering we're in a colder place than we should be for March 10th, I'm psyched! :bounce:

4. Soo jealous.
We gave up outdoor space when we bought our first condo a few months ago. I would love to be sitting outside drinking a martini right about now.

Our electricity is electric and the past few months have financially killed us, so we can't wait to open up he windows and enjoy the warm weather.

But, it WAS nice going to the store in hoodies instead of big, puffy winter coats.

6. We like our porch, even though it's a shared one
Thankfully, our two neighbors don't use their portions, so we're pretty much alone out there. :)

And, we don't pay for utilities, but we're renting, so that's the tradeoff.

14. The last place we rented
we didn't have to pay for utilities. I guess we got used to it. But our electricity bill was $300 last month! And we need to stop pampering one of our cats. She loves the heater in the bathroom, so we put it on for her because she rolls around and looks all cute, but it's totally unnecessary. Let's just say, anyone of our friends who has a baby is totally going to be spoiled!

I went to work early today...we had to update our main server for DST, how NICE....

And it was jacket weather even then. Just gorgeous today. :-)

7. I'm more of a Summer boy, anyway.
This cold weather has been totally depressing. We can't wait until we can open our windows and enjoy the breeze. We moved into our place in September, so this will be the first Spring/Summer and we can't wait!

9. It's been one of the coldest winters in a while.
It has been depressing. But good weather is on its way. You and your guy will be opening those windows soon. :-)

3. Sure. We didn't hit forty degrees
but the 38 felt balmy compared to the arctic curse we've endured for a couple of weeks. I want spring, SO BAD.

10. That's how I feel here.
This past week has been brutal. I got wind burn on my cheeks from walking to the train station. It was awfully cold and the wind chill made it terribly uncomfortable.

5. I was wearing cargo shorts and a t-shirt while we ran errands this morning.
I'm LOVING it.

8. Was it really a 'super' market?
I mean did it have any generally recognized Super Powers?

12. It must have.
Because it seems I was completely invisible to those who kept on ramming their shopping carts into me!
