My problem is with her. I am the guy in the white hat in that dynamic and she is the bad guy...anyone who knew the actual facts would agree without reservation. I cannot blame you for trusting her (not least because my whole problem was that I gave her the benefit of the doubt a few too many times) and for therefore trusting the veracity of what she told you about me, the few tidbits of truth therein grossly distorted.

Her behavior has been exposed to the people involved, people she dragged into it for no reason, and to the 'authorities.' I'm rambling on here because I do want you to know that I bear you no ill will and that when I say that I don't care what you think of me I do not mean it as a dismissive snub but as honest truth: we both have better things to focus on. I just hope that even if you suspect my integrity you take the existence of this problem between her and I, and the hints I have dropped above, as a kind of general cautionary note even if the specifics do not resonate with your experience. Basically, I wouldn't wish her on anybody and when I ask you to please be careful I mean to be wary of her.
