I just made my first apple pie ever

I'm such an American!

The filling was pretty good, but the top crust was a little crusty. Does that mean I over cooked it? My oven always seems to take longer to cook things than normal, so I may have overcompensated. I used Pilsbury pie crusts that you find in the refrigerated section of the grocery store, not home-made.

1. Sounds like you may have overcooked it a bit

Baking times and temperatures are more persnickety than regular cooking

2. I did that once...

even made the crust. It came out just fine, but it was sooo much work, and they sell 'em at the bakery, so that pretty much ended my pie-making career.
