My little brother did something very similar! It was at home, and my older brother was babysitting us. Lil bro got his head stuck through a lawn chair (one of those evil lounge type ones that had the strips of platic tubing and you could never get it to click to the right way, had the two ends that were adjustable). We couldn't get his head out (big ears maybe?) so, because it was funny, we buttered his whole head. It got him out, but mom was PISSED when she got home and saw him!
