Getting your light jacket out for milder weather, and finding the $20 bill you'd forgotten about last fall!

when there's something that really needs shooting... the neighbor's cat... the neighbor's kid... the neighbor.

It's all good. :D

15. I had something like that happen a while back
I found a letter my sister in Florida had sent to me at least 4 or 5 years ago. There were several pipe fulls well sealed in a baggie. How, or why, it was forgotten I have no idea. She never did this unless it was something especially good.

I noticed it had no smell and , sadly, no effect. Time eventually robbed it of all potency even though it was completely sealed. :(

Smoke 'em if ya got 'em! :hippie:

18. Big black birds -- like, um, RAVENS.
Edited on Sun Mar-11-07 02:17 PM by sfexpat2000
There are RAVENS all over this neighbor hood. They nest in Golden Gate Park about three blocks away and they totally OWN this joint.

And down south at my mom's place, red-winged blackbirds are sitting in the tall grass and courting ladies by flashing their epulets. It's a great time of year to be a blackbird. :)

Ravens and crows are amazing creatures.

Today, though, I saw a red-tailed hawk perched on the spire of the church. There were hundreds of sparrow below.

20. The ravens here work the tourist area but like their privacy
so live in the park. Across the street, the sparrows are nesting in the roof of the laundromat where there are nice curved tiles that arc just right to keep a nest safe but still have good ingress and egress.

When the chicks hatch, you can hear them and their Moms playing "Marco Polo" while she's out shopping. :)

My SO is getting me these for my bday in a few weeks:

I'm probably going to have a sparrow tattoo on my neck soon :)
