Does anyone here have a ski boat?
Where do you go to water ski?

I really really really want a ski boat or a party barge. I'm envious of anyone who has one. I guess I'm lucky to have friends with boats.

If you've got photos, please post them.

Spring has sprung when you start seeing the skiboats heading to the lake.

My dream boat:

2. Hey, I'm not going to knock a canoe...
I love to canoe...don't have my own, but we rent them when we float the river here.

Is that one made of wood? Very nice canoe...much nicer than the ones we rent.

4. Gorgeous.
There is a guy here who builds cedar canoes...every once in awhile, I catch his wife and him floating by when we're at the river.

That's a gorgeous canoe...you should be a proud owner.

6. If I had a pontoon boat...
I wouldn't ski. I'd probably just take it out to the middle of the lake and drink beer, maybe cook on a grill, and take a dip now and then.

I actually think I'd rather have a pontoon boat than a ski boat. My buddies with ski boats could pull in and tie off on my boat, and then I could go skiing with them. :D

I may have to look into this party barge thing a little more. I've seen them at Bass Pro Shop for $14K, and I mean really NICE barges.

7. Well you know the old saying about boats...
a hole in the water you throw money into.

Having said that....we've been enjoying boating for 10 years,

8. When did a pontoon boat
become a party barge? Typical American marketing. :eyes:

I would love a pontoon myself. I think it would be a great way to actually camp out on the lake. Hope you find a good deal on one, Maddy! :hi:

Here's one to make you laugh:
