Pictures from my walk yesterday ***PIC HEAVY***
So it was a gorgeous day yesterday and I decided to go for a walk on the river Main, that flows right through Frankfurt. I took my camera with me and here are some pictures of that walk

The cathedral of Frankfurt

It is springtime (a bit early maybe but it definitely looks like spring to me)

A close up of the blossoms

A close up of the close up

People enjoying the sun

Some doves

And a bridge called "Der Eiserne Steg" (The Iron Footbridge)

4. Good morning girlfriend
:hi: :loveya:

Yes, that is a pretty cool pictures. I like taking pics of doors, my mom kinda started it. She has a bunch of pictures of doors on her wall (taken by me and her bf) and now, whenever one of us sees a nice door, we take a picture of it.

How was your weekend?

:loveya:  :loveya:

And thanks for the pic! Another gorgeous one!

I tease you because a lot of photographers will write down what they take a photo of so they have a record of it. It's a weird and kinda nerdy thing, I guess. Me? I like weird and nerdy.

I have a spare battery
but I just forgot to take it with me. If took a bunch of macro pictures, the zooming there takes a lot of battery, I didn't think about it :banghead:. Oh well, the battery died on me toward the end of the walk, so that was OK.

You will be seeing more of them. I promised I'll flood the Lounge with my pics till you beg me to stop

The cathedral ones are wonderful. It's such an historic building. It was built in the 14th and 15th Centuries and Holy Roman Emperors were crowned there. I used to love visiting it when I lived there.

29. Forsythia: yellow flowers.
For us, it's a time when we must fertilize our lawns, when the forsythia blooms.

It's months away for we here in Maine. You are lucky!

and we didn't really had a winter here this year so I would say it has something to do with that. Don't worry, I remember in 1995 I was in Charlotte, NC and had a sunburn on my nose in March ...

They don't sit and pose, like a cathedral does. Good shooting to get them in the frame like that.

What sort of trees are in the fourth picture? Are there many parks in Frankfurt, where people can sit out and enjoy the sun?
