1) Are you listening to any music now? If so, what?
No. But I ought to plug a Nina Postolovskaya CD in.
2) If you were to run into a large, tame lion, (and you knew it was tame), what would you do? Run away anyway, or give it a scratch? (or other)
Let it sniff me, decide that I'm OK, and then give it a scratch. But only for a short time; I'm allergic to cats!
3) If there was a flaming goat standing on it's hind legs (and completely ok with the fire) in the middle of your street, what would you do?
I'd say, "Holy shit, there's a goat on fire standing on its hind legs in the middle of the street!"
4) If you could enrol (and succeed at) and complete an entire university degree overnight (and you learnt it as if you had spent 4 years at it), what degree would you choose? (Any Bachelor, Masters, or PhD is fine)
A PhD in Korean. I've got some good friends from S. Korea and would love to converse with them in their language.
5) How much of your time at DU do you spend in the Lounge?
After a pleasant morning, I'd have to say not nearly enough.
6) Do you like self-referential humour?
If you mean self-effacing, I'm not sure. I'm good at it, and I like making people laugh, but sometimes it makes me a little sad.
7) Don't you think anyone who posts in the Lounge is lame?
Nice reference to #6, and no.
8) How often do your arguments with people get heated? (as in, LOUD!)
Hardly ever. I try to get to the root of the argument and solve it. I don't like heated arguments because I have a massive fight or flight reflex and I don't like feeling that way. I do get heated when I think someone's taking advantage of me.
9) What are the first three things that you think of when I type: "Outside"
a) trees b) Muir Woods c) a river
10) Ever broke a bone?
Surprisingly enough, no.
11) Are you a more rational, or a more emotional person? (Or other) It depends on the situation.
12) Re-arrange these ages from 'happiest' to 'saddest': 8, 16, 20, 24, 28, 36, 42, 50, 60, 70, 80
8, 36, 28, 24, 20, 16
I loved life as a child. Middle school and adolescence were torture. I didn't like high school that much. Life has steadily improved since.
13) Do you think anyone with comic-book superpowers - even in a more mild form - will exist in the future? (As in, FAR in the future. Of course you don't know. Take a guess!)
Yes, I do. I think that in the next century, someone will make a "six million dollar man" with heightened senses, accelerated healing, and increased muscle/bone density. I just hope it's not the military.
14) How tired are you right now?
Very.
15) How are you feeling right now?
Tired but pretty much content.
