Am I the only one who knows how to set the clock on my computer?
Two steps: re-set clock to DST. Disable automatic change to DST so the computer doesn't reset itself again in a few weeks. Is this a case of problem solved, or am I missing something here? What's the big hairy deal with computer patches, re-setting calenders etc?

1. Here's my question.
How did the computer KNOW it was supposed to change times? Did it read the paper? Does it watch TV when I'm not here?

Questions to ponder.

5. My clock has a little checkbox for automatic conversion to DST
Try unchecking it.

Of course, your computer might be getting instructions from a master clock somewhere on your company's system. in that case, you're screwn.

3. Hell, most people don't know where the clock is on the taskbar...
Dealing with end users only gives cred to the corporate folks offshoring, I regret to say...

4. Mine Did It Automatically
I didn't have to adjust anything.

Does that mean that someone else is messing with my computer?

8. I don't know - I've never used your computer
Mine changed automatically but if it hadn't, I know how to change it. The media likes to make a big deal out things that aren't.
