Just a small town girl, living in a lonely world
She took the midnight train goin an...y...where
Just a city boy
born and raised in south detroit
He took the midnight train goin an...y....where

A singer in a smokey room
A smell of wine and CHEAP perfrrrume
For a smile they can share the night
It goes on and on and on and on

:headbang:

Strangers
waiting
up and down the boulevard!
Their shadows
searching
in the night
Streetlight people, living just to find emotion
Hiding, somewhere in the niiiiiight!

Working hard to get my fill,
Everybody wants a thrill
Payin anything to roll the dice,
Just one more time
Some will win
some will lose
Some were born to sing the bluuuuues
Oh, the movie never ends
It goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on

(chorus)

Dont stop believin
Hold on to the feelin
Streetlight people

1. South Detroit?
What? The Detroit River? Windsor, Ontario? There is no South Detroit. Southwest, yes. But South Detroit? No.

2. That's always my reaction to that song as well
No such thing as South Detroit. East Detroit would have worked as that lyric.

and I didn't even live in Detroit yet.

3. Have you ever heard "With A Tear"?
Off the box set.
The most beautiful, soaring Journey song....no vocals. Done for the box set because it had been sitting around waiting to be finished, so Neal and John just went in the studio and kicked it.
Kills me every time.

Good Morning Girl...great use of Perry's voice.
Still They Ride...
I could go on all night.

6. Hello, sixth grade dances!
Where I just watched everyone make out and occasionally danced with someone.

Being a late bloomer sucked.
