1. It's kinda boring...I'm watching it right now on VH1.
I don't really like any of the artists in this year.

:P

2. Will Eddie and David Lee Roth make nicey-nicey

long enough to be inducted? And Michael Anthony better be with Van Halen. He was a major part of the sound and the only one able to hit those high notes during the chorus of a song. I'm still pissed at how Eddie treated Michael.

3. Observations...
The Montages: Of course, the Memorial montage made me cry. I also liked the montage with clips of various acceptance speeches over the years. I teared up over that one, too. I love how powerful music can be, and I always love seeing talented musicians together...maybe I'm just a dork, but it fills me with hope. :-)

Ronnie Spector: I think she kinda pissed some people off her with her looong thank you speech. It seemed like the other two Ronettes weren't too happy with her. Still, their performance sounded good. And "Be My Baby" is one of the greatest songs ever!

Zach de la Rocha: You are hot, intelligent, and talented, and we need you back NOW.

Patti Smith: I've never really been into her music, but I'm very happy for her. And good for her for the anti-war/pro-peace comments. She's cool.

Eddie Vedder: So far they've just shown him in the audience, but he looks great. I'm anxious to see him present (I'm assuming he's presenting to R.E.M.??) He's seated near Kid Rock, who doesn't look so great. He's such a tool...

Well, anyway, this is way better than the stupid Grammys, which I haven't been able to watch in years.
