Don't you hate it when people say they are going to call you back and they don't?

I am waiting on a phone call from a woman in Detroit and she hasn't call back yet. I've been waiting for an hour or so now.

I hate it when people do that, argh!!

But then again she probably is still on the other line. She did have to take a call and she told me she would call back.

But still I hate waiting sometimes because I have this happen all of the time.

It seems people say things that they don't really mean or somehow just forget. I know I have been waiting on stuff for work which depended on a phone call, only to find that the other person "forgot".

If someone says that they're going to call you back, and they don't, then go do something else.

Don't ever sit by a phone waiting on someone to call.

8. I hate waiting for calls too

but I've been guilty of not returning calls as quickly as I thought I'd be able to do so. I do apologize, sincerely, when it happens (not that that gives the person waiting back the time s/he spent waiting.)

BUT, I never say "I'll call you right back" if I don't mean it. That would be lame, dishonest, and rude.

..my major pet peeve. Especially if it is concerning something I need to complete a task, business, finances or whatever. It really "grrrrs" me to sit and wait on them :mad:
