6. She's making slow progress. And the leg problem appears to have been somewhat transient, but

that's how MS works, sneaky son of a bitch that it is...it piles a whole lot of trouble on you at once, then it fades mostly, but not all the way. It chips away at you, stealing parts of your body five or ten percent at a time. I can walk a straight line again, but only for a hundred yards or so. Before, I could do so for a quarter-mile.

If the MS would just come out and fight me in the open, I think I could beat it, but it refuses to do so. It's frustrating.

8. JEEZ, thanks for asking. I talked with his last week, and he's doing well. AND, has actually

figured out that he ought not to be climbing fucking trees at the age of close to 50 (and damn near having died doing so). He's going to sell his chipper and hire a tree-climber for his landscaping business.

You're certainly welcome, and it's my turn to thank YOU for remembering what happened with my brother.
