DRAT! My DVD player won't read the DVD's!

First time it happened, I thought it was just the DVD, so I tried several others, and get the same message. "No disc." Grrr! x(

2. Do you have any canned air?

If so, eject the tray, then unplug the DVD player.

Then spray inside the tray slot with the air...maybe it's just a piece of fuzz or dust on the eye.

Good luck...hope you can fix it without having to buy another one.

But that's a great idea. I'll get some and give it a try. Thank goodness my laptop plays DVDs.

3. Try unplugging the machine...

then plugging it in again.

Sometimes ours gets a little loopy like that.

7. Is it part of your tv or separate?

I have one that is part of my tv and I think it was a recall because when I looked it up on the internet it was on there and tons of people had complained about it...it said the same thing, "no disc."

11. If the canned air doesn't work

get a CD/DVD cleaning disc, if you don't already have one. They cost about $10.

About a week ago, I had three different DVDs that wouldn't do nothin'. Popped in the cleaning disc, and, viola!
