I saw Delaney on Jeopardy (it was a question about her portraying Margaret Sanger and her being prochoice)just last week and she pretty much looks just like she did back in the China Beach days.

1. China Beach was one of my all-time favorite shows

I was so pissed when they cancelled it.

2. I bought it for my wife for Christmas

on DVD from a website called TVplanet. Someone had taped it on the History channel-66 episodes on 33 discs. The picture and sound are okay they took getting used to. I had never seen it as I was in the Army in Germany when it was on and it wasn't on Armed Forces Network (1 channel)

Pretty good. I am close to being an expert on the show even though we have tapered off in our watching it. The original cast and show set up changed drastically from the pilot to the fourth episode.

The gift was a HUGE surprise to her. She had mentioned it once and my brother told me about it (guys likes the Dana) so I went out and found it on the internets.
