I've seen members of their actual FAN CLUB (long ago, natch)
drop the "A" when saying the name. So I'd file them under "F".

Because "A" is a letter of the alphabet, and it's the first letter of that band's legal name.

Filing it under F would be as __*__ as segregating all the Mc_ and Mac_ names at the beginning of the M section of the phone book, rather than in alpha order.
