Actually, if memory serves, the spring of 1998, in Cathal Brugha Barracks, I passed out as a Cavalry Trooper (2 Star) in the Irish Defence Forces.



Yes, I'm one of those people in the front row. I think I can reasonably lay claim to being one of the 34 million (Or whatever) people in the US who claim some form of Irishness.

My husband and I also visited Dublin on that same trip and really enjoyed it.

We had the time of our lives and hope to go back some day. The Irish are the most hospitable people!
