I nearly had a bad car accident

I was on a fairly busy street, three lanes in either direction with some left turn lanes in the middle. I was in the left lane (of the three travel lanes). Someone was trying to turn left in the turn lane next to me (same direction) which blocked the person trying to turn left in the OTHER direction from seeing me. I knew I didn't have the distance to stop in time to keep from hitting her, so I swerved to the right, across the other lanes. I popped the clutch and the car stalled. I just am very lucky that no one was in the two right-hand lanes (or they had plenty of time to miss me). I guess any accident avoided is a good thing but I was very lucky no one else hit me. I keep thinking I probably would have missed her anyway, since she was moving away from where I was. I still feel shaky. I stopped for a minute and then went to the gym. I felt like I was having an asthma attack on the elliptical machine but somehow finished anyway.

I had one this morning and one this evening.
Both of the other drivers were idiots!
I got pissed off and now I'm blaming the warm weather.
Gheesh! I was a little shakin' up myself.

but I got the plate number of the second guy.
I think he was drunk and he almost took out my front left fender.
I was doing the speed limit, approaching a yellow light and he blew
in front of me and then had to stop short. Frigging moron! :grr:

8. just a couple of days ago

I got onto the highway and all of a sudden I heard these screeching tires behind me, I look in my mirror and there are two cars racing and one loses control and starts spinning. The dude came about two feet from hitting my brand new lil 2007 Prius. He got so damn lucky cause everyone behind me and him pretty much saw it happening so they all slowed down and he had lots of room to regain control of the car which he did about 5 feet from the center wall. The other car which was a huge caprice station wagon just took off dodging in and out of the lanes. It was stupid.
