But, as far as the musical advisor/special guest part, I thought she was not really very interesting, and offered virtually nothing of substance. Her appearance was basically just...blah, bland, not exciting.

This episode is showing how hard her songs really are to sing. Ross has a range that most others don't have.

I saw her for the first time a couple years ago and she blew me away. I know she's a horrible, nasty bitch, but damn, the girl can sing.

It's kinda been a depressing day for me. We worked a wreck this afternoon--a 12 year old stole his grandmother's car, drove at high speed, ran off the highway and hit a culvert before he went airborne and crashed into a pole. He had severe head injuries (lost all of his teeth, apparent cranial fractures, broken wrist and leg--not wearing a seatbelt)--I'm praying for the little guy tonight...I don't think that he's going to make it through the night. :( If you'd say a little prayer for him, I'd appreciate it.

Yeah, Melinda's the one this season, I predict. I just can't see anyone surpassing her. I hope that Sanjaya gets voted off soon...his constant smiling makes my jaws hurt. :7 :silly:

when we work wrecks...but this one was a little guy and he was severely injured. I stood back and let the guys with stronger stomachs go into the vehicle. I couldn't even look at him, when the others brought him out of the vehicle. I comforted the grandmother and his small nephew...his little nephew (probably about six or seven yo) was very upset, and asked me "Is he going to be ok?" I've got a son the same age as the kid who wrecked the car. Really got to me.

You're so sweet. I appreciate you saying that. :hug: I didn't do much today, though...the guys who went into the car and brought the kid out...they are the ones who are brave.
