Will Heather Mills (McCartney) lose her prosthetic leg in dance contest?
Are we getting close to the ultimate reality show yet? I don't know whether to laugh hysterically or throw up. I don't care for the so-called reality shows anyway, but this is really the pits as far as I'm concerned. The show "Dancing With the Stars" will be having, on their first show of the season, Heather Mills competing, with her prosthetic leg. She, herself has been on promos, saying "I don't know if my leg will stay on." So now, fans of the show (not me) will be tuning in every show to see if her leg falls off. There's even an online website where they are betting on it! My gawd, what's next?

2. I'm not a disability-phobe......whatever that is.....I just DON'T LIKE MILLS.
I believe she's a complete phony. Since the first time I saw her with McCartney on Larry King's show, she came across to me as an overbearing opportunist.

5. I'm sorry if that's what I seem to be doing.
I guess I didn't word my posting very well. I would never trash anyone's disability.

7. alright then
that being said, I never cared much for Ms. Mills - I just never thought she was a good match for my beloved Sir Paul. :(

8. I agree......she must have really put a spell on him or something....and
now at the divorce, she is claiming that he brutalized her. I find that impossible to believe. There was never any hint of any kind of abuse from him toward Linda in all the years they were married. Surely it would have leaked out if he was that kind of a person. I think she set her cap for him with the idea of getting a big chunk of his money. Also, she always came across to me as a rather hard person.....By the way, I don't know why they deleted post #1. It seems to me they allow much worse than that to remain....

13. I was mystified by that deletion too!
I believe Paul was so desperate to find love after the death of his beloved Linda (who died the same way Paul's mother did when he was 14) that his judgement was severely impaired. And I don't think Ms. Mills will get much traction with the silly abuse allegations.

4. I have seen a person dance the foxtrot, waltz, and do the twist with
a prothetic leg on. It stayed on. I surmise Ms. Mills is joking. I'm sure all will be well. And as far as reality shows go, I like this one because it isn't so much about the awful side of humanity. I enjoy watching a good performance.

11. I can't watch the show mainly because the music sucks
They take pop music and make 'dance' versions of them. Hell there is so much amazing tango, waltz, rumba, etc. etc. music out there that you don't need to recycle pop music into these type of songs. Use the real stuff.

I'd rather watch 'Strictly Ballroom'

12. At least in "Strictly Ballroom", the only things that come off are the rugs
is that where the phrase "cut a rug" comes from? :P
