but I don't understand how they can have the beautiful Anne Boylen playing around with a handsome Henry. did they take some 'artistic license' with history?

I'll have to wait and see I suppose, but when Henry was young and beautiful, Anne Boylen was just a gleam in her daddy's eye.......

Somehow, I thought The Tudors would at least be as interesting as Rome (which is fascinating, although depressing).

But there is no difference between the Tudors and any stupid movie about high school drama surrounding a powerful quarterback/ prom king and promiscuous cheerleaders/ ladies in waiting.
