Police Take Tonya Harding Back To Her Trailer After She "Tweaks Out"
<snip>

Infamous Oregon ice skater Tonya Harding is back in the news.

Clark County sheriff's deputies responded to two calls early Sunday morning involving Harding.

Police reports described Harding as "very agitated" and "tweaking out."

According to a police report, Harding said four men and a woman tried to break into her car and steal it shortly after 5 a.m. In his report, the deputy wrote that Harding's account was "very implausible."

Harding told police she was on "new medication" and was experiencing an adverse reaction.

Later that same morning, police received another call regarding Harding, this time from a friend who told authorities the skater was "seeing animals."

The deputy took Harding back to her trailer and checked her home to "put her at ease."

1. I know she's had some fucked up relationships, but seeing animals.
Isn't that now against the law now in Oregon?

3. that's a load of innuendo in that article
wow. "new medication", in quotes. Poor Tonya. She really kicked ass as a skater, it's a shame she'll always be remembered for the other stuff.

4. I never thought she was that good
sure, she had some great jumps, but her artistic ability was lacking.

5. I liked her
but then I prefer the b*tches in skating to the boring ones. I think Kimmie Messner landed a 3A this year, breaking Tonya's record, right? I was also a huge fan of Maria Butyrskaya, because I loved her attitude and frankness. I never even watch women's skating any more because they are all so 'nice'; if I have to hear Kim Messner say 'awesome' one more time I will scream. But I do like to watch Tonya skate, even today...I always felt there was a little class discrimination against her. It was more her appearance, since Kerrigan was working class as well, but I like it when non-conventional skaters succeed. It has to do with my belief that they are the only hope for keeping this sport alive in this country.
