I don't care what you say, I still think the Republicans aren't to be trusted.

There's just.... something ..... that seems not quite above board about them. I don't know what.... but I have a sixth sense about these things, and I'm getting a little tingle that they might not be quite on the up and up.

I know most of you will disagree, but I'm really concerned that after Clinton's perjury, there was an impeachment, and yet no impeachment has happened yet for this president. Not to say he should be - but, I don't know... something's not quite right here.

I also have this nagging sense there is some kind of... I don't know, dichotomy is maybe the word... between the flack that Hillary took when she fired the travel department and the lack of concern over the firing of all the attorneys. Now, I'm not saying that this is worth the concern that Hillary's shenanigans warranted, but it seems... I don't know, not quite.... consistent I guess is the word.

Flame me if you want, but I, for one, am gonna start watching the Republicans. I don't think they're quite... you know, putting all their cards on the table.

1. Well, mistakes were made
But really, you can't know that Republicans were the ones who made them. Some people say that the Democrat party has done similar things in the past.

2. So you're saying I should go back to American Idol, and continue to trust the government?
I hope so! I sure would feel, you know, better.

5. Nice tinfoil, Rabrrrrrr.
What's next? Are you going to suggest that there's, what, some kind of vast right-wing conspiracy going on?

6. Try another strawman.
:eyes:

Of course there isn't a vast rightwing conspiracy.

I'm just offering a couple things that, on close examination, seem to be not quite... well, they just don't fit.

7. the heart of this is (*I think)
that masses of people are lying mostly to themselves
That's just MY opinion maybe but I think that's why sense can't get through.. admitting being that wrong is just not easy.

A while back I thought that nothing-no amount of corruption would surprise me anymore. But lately I have been shocked. I've learned that war is really no biggy, massive corporate fraud in a web with my defense and decisions for my future are no big deal really :p

attention to everything flying about these days. After all, the election season has just begun and there's what, 8, 9, or more wanting to get elected. They're gonna say anything and everything to tear down our president so they can get votes.

President Bush is a good man, an able man, and a man of God. President Bush knows full well the challenges we face, and I believe he knows the best way to guide us through this turmoil. Trust him.

Our burdens aren't going to be eased overnight. Neither God, nor George Bush, work that way. Again, have faith. Don't believe the hatred, the accusations, and the vilifications that you'll be hearing the next year and a half. Remember, Our Saviour too, was hated, accused, and vilified. George Bush is our saviour today. Trust Him.

do i really need the sarcasm thingie here?

10. Go ahead and try! All I am saying is, maybe it's time to ask a question or two.
That's it!!

I'm not saying that El Presidente isn't anything other than the God King that he is!

Just that there might be... well, a few questions that could be asked.

17. I often wonder
what their tastes are...what films they watch, if any, or music they like. It seems like every artform or artist tends to disagree with their political agenda. I'd think this would alienate them from most cultures. It must suck!

19. Actually, they're often pretty well-rounded in most things.
It is just their politics seem to be driven by fear. One old guy I know who thinks we should be at war with the whole world is an experienced amatuer astronomer and plays his extensive collection of classical music while observing.

18. well, they are trying to fix all of the HUGH mistakes the Democrats have made
over the centuries, but something always happens to foil them, like when that Obama guy blew up the trade centers (with Saddam's help of course), and then when they fooled everyone into thinking the world was getting hot. I mean, come on! It snowed a couple of weeks ago! Where was the global worming then?

I tell you what!

They're really just trying to protect us from all the problems freedom creates for people.

You seem to love them so much, why don't you go and marry them?
