19. Damned Straight!
I'm the famous Buzzkill!

I kill the buzz whenever I'm around

I do I do I do!

That's why no one wants me to come around when they're buzzin'!

8. Love the net
Leprechauns are very crafty. The smart ones will never get caught, but maybe you will lure a 'green' one in. If so, please post pictures!!!!
:hi:

9. Now that is CUTE!
We've got to build one this weekend. We always prop the end of a box up on a stick, with some new pennies underneath.

While we are away at the store or visiting friends, the Leprechaun ALWAYS comes to our house, rolls our living room with toilet paper, and leave little tiny footprints all over the floor. We haven't caught him yet, but he does drop foil-covered chocolate coins during the mischeif making. He's been doing this since MMjr. was two, and he STILL does it--and MMjr is 13 now. (It's become one of those silly little traditions in our home.) :D

Our trap is nowhere nearly as sophisticated as yours...excellent lures there! I love it!

10. This is sooo cool!
I am very Irish, but this is the first I've heard of this tradition. I love it.

12. Even though MMjr knows better now....
he starts reminding me about two weeks before St. Paddy's Day that we need to be watching out for the Leprechaun. He loves this as much as any other holiday tradition.

Every year when the trap falls, it catches a little piece of green felt off of his jacket, but we have yet to catch the little bugger. He's tricky.

(I also throw stuff like green sports bottles, green ink pens, and other miscellaneous green stuff that I find at the Dollar Tree, around the room with the chocolate coins. The whole thing costs me all of $15 dollars, and it's so much fun to watch my son barge in the door and act angry about the mess. :D )

11. Well, I for one, am so glad to see it's a LEGAL SIZE Leprechaun Trap!
Now, let's see if it works as well as the GROW-UP Machine that my granddaughter made!
(She actually asked me if I had a lock of some kind she could use on it. Didn't want her little brother getting in and growing up too fast... :eyes: )

Please make the Leprechaun tell you the Lotto numbers!!!!

Your child is a wonder of creativity! ;) That's an awesome device she has made! :woohoo:

13. I like the autograph.
Edited on Wed Mar-14-07 07:50 PM by Bornaginhooligan
I always write my name on my gnome traps. I feel it's kind of like when your waiter gives you his name before serving a crappy, over-priced dinner.

I also like the synthetic clover pasture. A leprechaun's never going to know the difference.

17. It was fun!
There I was with a wire coat hanger, the needlenose pliers and some tulle!

Bet you do not often hear those three items in the same sentence...

20. Did you catch any Leprechauns? And, if so...
...is it true that they taste like chicken?
