as the fact that it came from the generally liberal 9th Circuit Court of Appeals — the same court that upheld Michael Newdow's suit against his daughter's school district over "One nation, under God."

I'm seriously dismayed that anyone who calls himself an American could be this cruel.

I may give NORML a donation myself! I'm already a monthly donor to the ACLU www.aclu.org and the Marijuana Policy Project www.mpp.org , two organizations that oppose the drug war. I don't know how anybody could support what the federal government is doing to this dying woman. I have trouble calling America a free country as long as our government is pulling this crap. I wonder if there could be some international pressure put on our government by the UN or somebody else to stop what is a pretty obvious abuse of human rights.
