I don't know why, but it reminds me of something funny that happened at gay pride in '93, in Washington. I haven't thought about this in a long time, but I was standing with my friend Jim in the square after the march, and there was this guy trying to get his friend's attention, he kept yelling "Phil! Phil!", or whatever, from across the way, but it was so noisy he couldn't be heard over all the people. Finally he got frustrated and at the top of his lungs yelled "Hey GIRLFRIEND!" really, really loud, and as soon as he said it about half the men in the square stopped talking and turned around to see who was calling them. It was hysterical.

Someone posted this last night and I thought it was hysterical and said so on the thread and all the other posters were like "huh?"

I had hoped some gay people would come on that thread because I think this is a "gay" sense of humor in this strip that completely went over a lot of people's heads. I thought about making it a sig pic it is so funny. Glad to see it in a thread where folks 'get it'.
