Edited on Thu Mar-15-07 07:28 PM by mentalsolstice
And I loved some of the early bird specials...1 lb. lobster, salad, baked potato, and dessert! However, my heart was really with the hole-in-the-wall lobster pounds...nothing but lobster at $6.00-7.00 per lb.

Of course, then there's the west coast, Oregon for you...and all the luscious salmon you could eat on the cheap. We were in hawg heaven in Seattle! Lobster's not cheap down here, but we have a great fish market in town that has a good price on wild salmon. We have a "Big Green Egg" (a ceramic grill) that we cook it out on ( 1 to 2X per week). We try to find Oregon Pinot Noirs for salmon nights.

Before I even read your answer.

Pizza and beer. Definitely.

For the ultimate in pizza and beer experience, please come to Boise and visit this place:

http://www.thefrontdoorboise.com/tfd/

And please call me before you go, so Mr. LIW and I can meet you there. The beer selection changes fairly frequently, and they always list the current beer menu online. As for the pizza, the sauce and mutz is like heaven. Mr. LIW is fond of the Wiseguy.
