Fox apparently has a game show...

"Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" hosted, appropriately, by Jeff Foxworthy.

Damn, that's pathetic. I just saw some idiot miss this question: Which state is the farthest west, Alaska, California, or Nevada? He only stayed in the game because his partner, a 5th grader, answered it correctly.

And now he's struggling with this question: What ocean covers the North Pole?

The most pathetic thing about it might be that the prizes go up to $1,000,000, and no one has ever won the top prize. It boggles the mind. I would ask how in the world the Fox network finds morons like this, but I guess they just grab them from the FoxNews viewers.

That was a game show where people gambled their cars to win a new car, the loser got their car crushed. Could only last for so long because people "got wise" and bought a secondhand car to gamble that instead.

I mean, come on! Even if you're fuzzy on some things, you can get a set of textbooks for grades one through five and go through them in a couple of weeks. A college educated person (which the dink who didn't know Alaska is farther west than California was) should be able to go through the entire first grade cirriculum in one day.
