Coach K is a bigtime repub fundraiser, so I always root against Duke. To be fair, I'd probably root against them anyway.

30. I keep seeing this mentioned, yet...

when I try to find out information about it, all I can find is that he HOSTED a fundraiser for her one (single) time, a fundraiser that was held at Duke (which is her alma-mater after all). I've checked to see if he's ever donated to her campaign, and can find NO campaign donations at all, in his name, his wife's name, or his children's names.

I'd like to see more information than just a snippet from a newspaper about his hosting one fundraiser before I deemed him "a freeper." Hosting a fundraiser at the school he works for doesn't translate into hard-core freeperness, so I'd like to see more evidence before drawing a conclusion. I happen to like Coach K, and yes, I am a Blue Devils fan. His political beliefs, even if he turned out to be a Republican, wouldn't make that much of a difference in my support for my favorite basketball team.

There's a wealth of German pubs/restaurants in the area! If I had plenty of $$$, and could get a river-front home in Covington/Newport, with a city lights view...ahhh. My elderly parents live outside of Lexington, so it would be the right distance. Alternatively, we've been looking hard at Huntington, WV for retirement.
