...remember that they have no use for intellectual pleasures ;)

4. The last couple of nights, I have had a cat actually crawl on top of me!
Edited on Fri Mar-16-07 01:33 AM by Pushed To The Left
The next door neighbors don't let their cat inside, but she sleeps here almost every night (she's clawing the chair I'm sitting in right now!) She has developed a habit of crawling on top of me when I'm asleep or half asleep. The problem is, she starts kneeding my bare leg, which isn't always the most comfortable thing! She's a sweetheart, though. I've always been a cat lover.

24. I think the neighbor's cat is yours now.
Unless you let a cat inside, you can't really call it a pet. Congratulations, new cat owner!

7. What gets me is that the little monsters sleep all day
and then want to play at night, hunt, attack my toes, or even sleep some more. It just isn't fair.

16. Clancy's worst habit
he sleeps non-stop, then feels obligated to join me on the bed when *I* amd trying to sleep - and he starts GROOMING HIMSELF. You know the violin-stick pose, where they have their hind leg sticking straight up and they're having a lick fest? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. :grr:

He decides to chase the other kitties off of the bed, plop himself on the pillow next to my head and then expose himself in such undignified ways!

10. My cat cured insomnia
She could tell when I could not go to sleep and she would go to the top of my pillow, rest her chin on my head and purr.
A soft cat purr bouncing around your skull leaves no room for any complete thoughts - and sleep follows.
It was the most wonderful thing in the world!

He asked me if the cat was sleeping more than usual. I told him that he sleeps about 20 hours a day now, so how should I tell?
