Okay - here's what I've learned so far about my health

I do not yet have multiple myeloma. I do have monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined origin. The doc said in my case, however, this undetermined origin might be more significant. They are doing a test for amyloidosis - another baddie. I'll have to have my blood tested and marrow drawn between 4 mo to a year. If that goes dramatically up, it will have jumped from precancerous to cancerous. There's no treatment; just "watchful waiting". Each year I live, the chances increase almost exponentially that I will eventually get MM because of my history.

So, that's all I know right now. See? All your good vibes, prayers, healing light, candles, good thoughts came through. You should all be proud.
