1. NO,
If I had kids or more specifically a son,...I would hope he would BE a "Forrest Gump". Respectful, loyal, kind, good natured, and honorable .......worthy of the title "a good man". Forrest may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but anybody with good character can be taught anythig, but you can't teach anything to someone with no character.

2. Thank you

But "not be the sharpest knife in the drawer"? What does that mean?

I may be a smart man, but I do not know what love is... :P

4. "not the sharpest knife in the drawer"
His blade may just need a little extra sharpening to cut thru life BS, a little easier.

11. "F*** you"

:D

I mean that in the nicest possible way.

August 30, 1974, midnight show in Las Vegas -- Elvis just got through singing "Hound Dog" and a woman in the audience screamed out "I love you, Elvis!." Elvis responded "I love you, too, honey" and followed it with something, in a very earnest tone, like "I really mean that -- I don't take it lightly..." but some SOB (the same kind that afflicts me here 30 years later, I guess) interrupted him with "I hate you, Elvis!" and he responded immediately with the subject line and went straight into the start of "American Trilogy" without missing a beat (with huge applause from the audience). :-)

That cat Elvis was a bad mother....shut your mouth! :D

16. Never
The heart wants what it wants. I teach my children how to make good decisions and leave the rest up to them. It's not my call or judgment to make.
