Help! My TiVo goin crazy

When we try to use the remote it just goes haywire. Jumps all over the place, starts shows I did not select, runs through all the fast forward and reverse settings then drops out on a whim to play.

Sup with THAT?!

Is it possessed? :hide:

try their remote on your tivo.

If it works, your remote is bad. If your tivo still goes crazy, it's the tivo.

Those things are possessed even when they're ok. Some of the things it records, well, I just don't know what it's thinking.

9. I have "Suggestions" turned off on my TiVo so it only records what I tell it to.

But I check the "Suggestions" screen every couple of days to see what it's found, though.
