Home from the vet
Sebastian went to the vet this afternoon. The vet seemed very nonplussed about the lump on his side. He said it feels more like an injury as if he banged himself up jumping on his cat tree. The vet was more interested in getting Sebastian's teeth cleaned. We have a follow up appointment next month just to make sure all is as it should be. So, all in all, everything seems ok.

Sigh of relief.

1. Huzzah!
The hordes send their regards to Sebastian. I'm glad it wasn't anything serious. :hi:

3. Thanks kedrys!
Sebastian sends his regards back to the hordes. Although, they are grumpy kitty regards because they updated his rabies shot today. :hi:

2. I took kitty Clarence once with a mysterious lump...
...on his back. Getting this sweetheart kitty to the vet was always an undertaking, because once there he would turn into Satan's cat. The staff would suit up with padded equipment...and throw towels over him in an effort to subdue him (he's proceed to eat the towels), while tearing up the exam room at the same time. Anyway it turned out that the lump on his back was a very dense fur mat, where he was just too lazy, and a little too fat to clean himself (he was 20+ lbs.)!

I'm glad that Sebastian just has dirty teeth, and that's all! They'll worry the hell out of you, that's for sure!

4. That's almost Lion-sized.
Admit it. That 20+ pounder would massacre you in your sleep.

It's a big relief that he's ok. I guess I'm going to have to wrap him in bubble wrap since he is a klutzy kitty. ;)

7. He went to the big litter box in the sky
... along time ago. But he's still legendary in our hearts...and at the vet's office! They're always cautious with any kitty I bring in.

5. That sounds like my mini-pin Lolly!
Edited on Fri Mar-16-07 10:31 PM by Shell Beau
Her card at the vet once read "may bite" then I saw it the other day and "may" was scratched out and an "s" was added to bite!!!

What can I say? She hates the vet and tends to not like a lot of people in general! She loves her mama though!!! ;)

6. At the top of his medical chart
was "FRACTIOUS CAT" in red.. But at home he was the sweetest, cuddliest lump of fur you'd ever want.

I can visualize a mini-pin holding the vet's staff hostage!

9. Hi CaliforniaPeggy!!
I'm hanging in there. Very tired.

It's been a very busy day. I've been cleaning my patootie off.

Both sets of parents are coming this weekend for Zodiak's graduation.

Gotta make the house sparkle!! :)

We don't want them to know that their kids slack off on household duties.
