2. Isn't it cool?
It's the end of a six month or longer backyard project. We hardscaped, landscaped, put in a fireplace, hot tub, and seating and now the piece de resistance!!!

(And, it's not that much, $2299 at Sam's, but don't tell anyone that is where I found it)

6. LP. I think you can get it with NG, but I didn't want to go that route.
Additional expense, plus more time to plumb the ine.

9. Isn't it? I've been looking for a while, but I wanted one with a
bar surround and they can go for up to $20,000, so no way.

I'm excited because we'll also put some sort of pergola or structure over it for lighting and fans to keep the bugs away.

We grill a LOT during the summer, but this will make it a tad more pleasant.

34. Oh so pretty!!
My dad and sister have stainless grills from Sam's and they love them. They have also held up very well. My dad's sits outside on his deck right on the coast of Maine!! All he does it make sure it is covered and there is no rust on it. He has had it for three years I think.

I want pictures of the first 'christening' cookout!

15. We don't have a big yard, but we just redid the patio over the fall
winter in brick and I have to say, the guys did a fantastic job. We have some low walls with flowers, bushes, etc., and then a place in the corner for the trampoline :eyes:

Then, we have a big flat part where we're putting the hot tub and then this guy.

I can't wait. Instead of moving to a bigger place, we added on here and made improvements and boy, it has really paid off for our quality of life.

14. Psst.
Don't tell the WalMart haters, but it's only $2299 at Sam's Club. Backyard Creations here wanted $4500 for just a grill without the bar and stools. This is a GREAT deal.

Granite countertops, built in grill, Ice chest, trash bin, drawers for stuff PLUS the four chairs.

I thought it was an amazing deal when I saw it online last night.

19. Delivery time is about 2 weeks, or so they say.
:eyes:

Then God knows how long to get Mr. Midlo and BoyMidlo to set it up.

I'm hoping by the first week of April.

This outdoor room thing is really catching on down here. It's trendy, so people love it and there are a lot of items to pick from.

We installed a gorgeous marble fireplace on our patio this winter for $600!!!! If you time it right, the stuff is actually pretty reasonable.

33. It's been a long time coming.
Instead of moving to something bigger we added on and renovated a bit. And, fortunately, when my FIL came to live with us, we had an extra bedroom, which was just an incredible stroke of luck.

The houses I had been looking at prior to adding on were just 4-5 bedrooms with an office. We wouldn't have had the room to put my FIL if we hadn't finished our third floor.

Now both of us have an office, which is great because we're both on the phone all the time and everyone has their own room, (except the two of us, of course)

Then because we couldn't grow grass in the back yard to save our life due to a lot of trees behind us that weren't in our yard, we hardscaped a bit of it and put in some furnishings, a fireplace and now this grill.

It's made a huge difference in our living space.

28. Yup.
But it has solid granite countertops, and a pretty decent grill.

The Other outdoor kitchens I saw with a bar were at least $7500, some as high as $20,000.

So, this is a bargain.
