My dog got stuck in the snow today
She thought she was hot shit, barreled down the steps and boom, right into snow (above her belly), with an ice top coat. Stood in it looking around and then decided to come back up the un-shoveled stairs.

Stuck. Couldn't raise her legs above the snow like my big Lab, so she started whining and barking till I came out and lifted her up on the porch. She has arthritis in her toes so she loves the cold.

What a pisser. She won't be doing that again if she makes it to her 14th birthday (she was 13 on the 9th).

2. She was all kissy face as I carried her.
It's hard to carry a squirming 65 pound dog on snowy steps.

3. How cute!
This New Englander instantly pictured a dog behind the wheel of an old Buick, rear wheels churning uselessly in a snowbank. It was a funny mental picture.

The one you provided was just plain cute. :)

4. I wish she wasn't so old, and I wish she didn't have arthritis
in her toes. She doesn't hucklebuck anymore.
