Poll question: Are You A Bath Or A Shower Person?
Edited on Sat Mar-17-07 06:48 PM by Yavin4
I only take showers, never a bath. I haven't taken a bath in years. I heard that hotels are not even installing bath tubs any more.

Nothing beats a hot, strong flowing shower.

I'm a shower person all the way.

5. That's why
I shower first, then bathe. I love having it both ways!

7. See now, I take showers, but that argument just doesn't make sense to me. The
filth was all on you anyway, all the water does is dilute it.

13. Ten minutes?
If you're only going to spend ten minutes, you may as well take a shower. It takes longer than that to fill up the tub.

I don't tend to take baths when I'm really dirty - I take them to relax.

22. You don't usually take a bath to get clean --
and I've been known to take both, one right after the other...

The whole point of the bath is to relax. Hot, sudsy water, a few candles, a good book...maybe some music...

*sigh*

4. Showers.
The last time I took a bath was a bubblebath with a member of the opposite sex, by candlelight.

Actually, either way, I could go both ways.

9. Both -
I really prefer baths on cold winter's nights. Nothing warms me through quite like a good long hot soak with some perfumey water.

OTOH, men really should stay out of the bath and the hot tub if they're trying to get the little woman preggers. Hot prolonged temps aren't good for the little swimmers.

10. Shower
Edited on Sat Mar-17-07 08:01 PM by u4ic
a bath is a treat for relaxing, not for actually washing myself on an everday basis.

(your last poll choice cracks me up!)

11. I prefer baths,but i'll settle for showers when I'm in a rush.
I hate when hotels don't have bathtubs. I'd hate to see that trend take off.:(

12. Baths for relaxation
Showers to get clean.

There's nothing like a long, hot soak in a deep tub filled with bubbles, a scented candle burning, music playing and a full bowl to smoke. Heaven!

14. I do both every day
I bathe first
It relaxes me and than I drain the tub stand up and shower.
To wash my hair and face and rinse off.

15. Showers for your basic get-clean
Like the one I just got out of, with my new Delta four-way shower thingie. :7

But when los muscles are sore after mucho physical labour, a soak in a hot tub feels reeeeealllly good, followed by a quick rinse under the shower.

16. Shower in the morning...
and bath before I go to bed. A hot bath helps me fall asleep.

17. Shower person here!
I take mine every morning. There are occasional times I might also relax in a hot bath in the evenings, though, like after a stressful day at work.

18. shower
faster, and it washes the dirt away, rather than letting you soak in them.

Though, granted, soaking can be nice sometimes, if you have a lot of muscle pain

19. My thoughts on baths can be summed up by the following exchange
KRAMER: I just took a bath, Jerry. A bath?

JERRY: No good?

KRAMER: It's disgusting. I'm sitting there in a tepid pool of my own filth. All kinds of microscopic parasites and organisms having sex all around me.

Yeah, I'm a shower guy all the way.
