and a live mouse under the refrigerator. Well, technically, she dropped the live mouse in the kitchen and it ran under the refrigerator under its own power.

The big fluffy cat ate most of a mouse on my living room rug the other night. My own little bitey cat has been staring at the space behind the refrigerator, so he might get lucky, too.

4. Update: the little bitey cat and the stupid beagle/german shepherd

mix dog are intensely studying on of my bookcases. Apparently the mouse made a run for it and ended up underneath. The problem is that the dog gets in the cats' way when they are ready to pounce.
