I've watched this solo several times since it was first posted here. I think Buddy would be proud.

15. Hey, he's retired. But he still rocked out at Madison Square Garden
when Cream reformed for a brief tour in 2005. :)

:bounce: I was lucky enough to be there. :bounce:

17. he's really quite a monster drummer
in his own unique style

Every time I hear Cream I think no way three men made that sound.

I was always a huge Blind Faith fan too.

7. Neil Peart
And for the last frigging time, his name is pronounced "Peert", not "Purt".

14. absolutely, Peart.
But I thought his name was pronounced like "pear" with a "t" at the end. No matter. I can't wait to hear Rush's new album, due May 1, called "Snakes and Arrows." The buzz says the sound is a throwback to albums like "A Farewell To Kings." I hope that's true. I love the records from that period.

20. My vote goes to Peter Moffet of Burning Airlines, ex- of Government Issue, etc.
Plus, as long as George Hurley (ex- of the Minutemen) is breathing, the title of "Best Drummer" alive will always be up for grabs.
