6. You can tell this didn't happen in the US

In Italy, where this actually happened, they sent the bomb squad in to get the free bonus item, haul it to an abandoned field and detonate it.

(I can completely understand HOW it happened too: World War II left so much unexploded ordnance under the soils of Europe, they'll be digging it up forever, and a hand grenade just happens to be the same size as a potato.)

In the US, we'd label the bags that contained grenades "self-mashing potatoes" and sell them at a premium price.

I'd say the driver of the potato harvester is a bit lucky - I wonder how often the average French farmer bumps into something that could go boom. More than here, certainly...
