1. I remember Edith Bunker shrieking this on an "All in the Family" once...
...but that's the only time I've heard it.

2. is that little brook still leaping there?
How are things in Glocca Morra?
Is that little brook still leaping there?
Does it still run down to Donny cove?
Through Killybegs, Kilkerry and Kildare?
How are things in Glocca Morra?
Is that willow tree still weeping there?
Does that laddie with the twinklin' eye
Come whistlin' by
And does he walk away,
Sad and dreamy there not to see me there?
So I ask each weepin' willow
And each brook along the way,
And each lad that comes a-whistlin'
Tooralay
How are things in Glocca Morra
This fine day?

5. you're names not
Robert, is it? (At least I think that was the name of the guy who played Finian. As you said - highschool was long long ago . . .)

I was just in the chorus. I missed tryouts for parts because I missed the announcements because I was in the band and we NEVER heard the end of day announcements 'cause we were playing too loud. . .

So I went breathlessly and desperately to the choral director, begging to be allowed to audition. He was sorry, but the parts had already been cast. He felt sorry for me, though, and let me audition for the chorus.

I did have a 'solo line' - "You won't know your Joneses from your Assssssssss-tors." I left out the 'tors' part during dress rehearsal and the director almost had a complete conniption. Everyone else thought it was funny, though.
