4. Those are great, Petronius

They give me a serious case of wanderlust. Gotta get my old car tuned up so we can take a little trip to the coast! Often when the fog rolls into S.F. we get a nice delta breeze that's almost as fresh as an ocean breeze.

5. Thank you - it's definitely a good time of the year for a coast drive

if you like the fog and a bit of a chill in the air. We've been getting our June Gloom a bit early, and the hills are still green - definitely you should hop in the car for a weekend!

6. Great pictures. We missed our coast trip this year

Me and my honey went up to Cambria from LA the last 2 Februarys but couldn't do it this year. I love the coast this time of year...it is moody with all the fog and green and beautiful. Thanks for these beautiful pictures.

We've been to Hearst fairly recently, and since we live in SLO we go wine-tasting in Paso and Edna Valley pretty frequently (sorry :))...

I've never been to Nitt Witt Ridge, I'm ashamed to say - I'll have to make a point of it on the next drive up Hwy 1.

It's really beautiful on the coast right now - even though it hasn't rained all that much the hills are really green, and it's been foggy/overcast pretty much every day near the water...

13. LOL-- I live on the north coast so I just took a trip to the Mojave desert....

It was nice getting out of the fog and drizzle. Nice pics, BTW!

17. We're heading out the desert next week - probably Joshua Tree for a few nights

I love our fog and gloom (nothing compared to yours, of course), but a few days of sun and starry nights will be just the counterpoint to enjoy the next couple months of fog...
