A Stretch H2 -- seen 'em before, saw one again on 57th & 7th Avenue in NYC Saturday night.

I came across a company with H2 limos staffed with height-challenged? waiters to serve drinks. :yoiks:

3. They must have to charter a gas tanker to follow them around
and fill it up every 4 blocks. :eyes:

Ugly. But then I think stretch limos are tacky and ugly anyway. I'd rather ride in the back of a vintage Rolls or something.

I'm with you...a vintage Rolls would be far better. :)

The way I see it - if it requires a ladder to gain entry to your vehicle, you're stupider than I thought.

36. Obscene? I consider them ugly, wasteful, and tasteless, but the only vehicles I consider obscene
are ones with W stickers on them. Or the Bush presidential limo. I don't much care what someone else drives. One Hummer more or less isn't going to save or kill the planet. The problem is way deeper than that. If we were all as serious about this as we claim, we wouldn't be typing on our computers this late at night for recreational purposes. How much energy would we save by turning out the lights and computers and going to bed? Not as much as driving a Prius over a Hummer, certainly, but enough to not feel so goddamned smug and superior.

And no, this isn't personal. I own a Prius, an 82 diesel that I try to run on biodiesel (though the car isn't running now), and a four cylinder cheapo car that gets 32 mpg.

Edited on Tue Mar-20-07 09:31 AM by mcscajun
Just two of the pure definitions: disgusting to the senses; so excessive as to be offensive. That's all. I'm being purely subjective here, not smug or superior.

as it is really only a bit larger and an actual truck than can put 2 tons in the bed and tow 7 tons. (Let me have one for one day, just one so I can park next to evey Hummer I see).
