Christ, my hamstrings!
Having built up what I thought was a reasonable amount of muscle doing non-compound exercises, I decided to start doing compound lifts today. That was approximately 7 hours ago.

Ouch. Ouch. OUCH!

I'm apparently in much worse shape than I thought-bodyweight squats damn near killed me. I can barely walk now. Dear God, what's tomorrow going to be like?!

On the bright side, at least I've got good form.

1. Well, if your hamstrings hurt now, considering the exercise
you may have some serious DOMS pain from your quads either tomorrow or the next day (your quads should be doing most of the work).

2. Start icing, because tomorrow it will get WORSE
get the ice out, get the Advil, swallow by the handful for 12 hours only.

I did this once and could NOT go up or down stairs for two days...could not do it to save my life...I was literally chair bound.
