$300 Panties on Ebay - Could someone please explain this to me?

Where else could I ask? Is this about a vintage collector's item, a fetish thing, to wear, to frame, what?

I collect vintage clothes, but this has me baffled. :shrug:

I wish I had known that last year. When cleaning out an elderly aunt's house, we threw away several pair like that. They were new with tags but the lace had yellowed from age. :shrug:
